of Kuala Lumpur. The criterium was raced at an average speed of 30.97mph

05.02.05: Stage 9 of the Tour De Langkawi from Menera Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya saw
recycling.co.uk / MG X-Power / Litespeed riders Rob Hayles & Chris Newton

03.02.05: Recycling.co.uk / MG X-Power / Litespeed rider Rob Hayles was 5th on Stage
seven of the Tour De Langkawi from Maran Raub a distance of 167 kilometres, with Dean
Downing in the main breakaway of the day. [More]
Stage 6 - Tour de Langkawi
02.02.05: Recycling.co.uk / MG X-Power / Litespeed rider Dean Downing was again
Britain's highest placed finisher in the Tour De Langkawi. It was another
day of bunch sprinting as all but 14 riders finished within 3 seconds of

01.02.05: Recycling.co.uk / MG X-Power / Litespeed powerhouse Rob Hayles finished Stage 5 of the Tour De Langkawi in 9th place, team-mate Dean Downing was

Testing Times In Langkawi
31.01.05: As predicted, a change in many of the General Classification places in the
Tour De Langkawi occurred during the 20.3km Individual Time Trial.

Russ Is Back On Winning Form!
31.01.05: Recycling.co.uk / MG X-Power / Litespeed Team Captain Russ Downing was back
on winning ways at Revolution 7. Russ Downing started the night in
tremendous style, pleasing the capacity crowd at the Manchester Velodrome.
Russ won the Devil Scratch Race showing he is coming back to top form after

Day 2 & 3 Langkawi
31.01.05: Recycling.co.uk / MG X-Power / Litespeed rider Dean Downing, was again
Britain's top finisher in the Tour De Langkawi. On the second stage of the
Tour. Dean was 9th in the bunch sprint, which included some of the worlds
best bunch sprinters. [More]
Langakwi Day 1
28.01.05: Recycling.co.uk / MG X-Power / Litespeed rider Dean Downing, representing
Great Britain at the Tour De Langkawi in Malaysia, was the first British
rider to finish on Stage 1. Rob Hayles, Chris Newton & Paul Manning finished
38seconds behind, safely in the peloton. Dean Downing is in 23rd position
overall out of the 140 Competitors starting, Dean is 10seconds behind the
leader overall. The first stage was completed at a very high pace of nearly
46km/h!
