The Linda McCartney Pro Cycling Team have recently teamed-up with the leading essential oils producer, Equilibrium.
All Equilibrium's products are 100% pure, using only natural organic based ingredients. They formulate, manufacture and supply a wide-ranging variety of oils for use in sports massage, all of which are being used by the soigneurs and masseurs who look after the Linda McCartney Squad.
The range even includes a "made-to-measure" service. Managing Director Rebecca McCauley explains:
"For many people, skin care products and massage oils can be a hazardous area, as they may irritate them, or exacerbate existing skin problems. We can work together with an athlete, or for that matter anybody, to formulate a product that is specifically tailored to his or her needs. Soothing Ointment Good for rashes or after a long day in the sun
All the oils are supplied in striking aluminium flasks and containers. This is a practical approach, as 100% pure oils can be absorbed by plastics and synthetics. Rebecca warns that "If it's pure and organic, it must be kept in glass or aluminium. Check out the ingredients in any product packed in plastic!"
They also supply a very nice keyring - shaped to spring the lids off those tins when you've got oily fingers!
